adopt a dingo

Thanks for taking the time to consider adopting a displaced dingo or dingo-hybrid who needs a new start.

Every dingo in our care has a special story of how he or she came to be homeless. Though each dingo's story is different, they all have a common desire to belong to a loving home once again.

As a pack animal, dingoes love company! Not built for the solo life, dingoes want to be with their families at all times - be that dingo, human or dog!

If you think you can provide the kind of home a dingo will love, please get in touch with us using our application form below.

Adoption Donations

Your tax-deductible donation to adopt a dingo plays a vital role in the sustainability of our life saving rescue work.

When a dingo comes into our care, we immediately cover expenses for emergency vet treatment, microchip, vaccinations, parasite control, and at a later date desexing.

As many dingoes come into our care from the wild in critical condition, we rehabilitate these beautiful animals for many months, sometimes even over a year, covering all rehabilitation expenses along the way.

Your donation to adopt an animal in our care covers a portion of these expenses and allows us to continue our life saving work.

By donating to us you are not only helping the individual animal you have adopted but are supporting  future rescue cases.

Thank you for partnering with us to save the wild-hearted.

AURORA

Name: Aurora
Age: 5 months
Gender: Female
Microchip: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Sterilised: Yes
Registered: Yes
Wormed: Yes
Flea/tick treated: Yes
This beautiful little lady is a wild born orphan who came into care with us just in time.

She has been in foster care for almost 5 months and she is doing wonderfully.

Aurora is such a gentle soul with the cheekiest personality. She loves to play and is great at creating her own little games.

She adores all dogs and dingoes and follows her older foster siblings around everywhere. Aurora loves a scratch and will often nudge you with her nose when she isn't getting one.

While she has come such a long way, Aurora does need work on building her confidence with humans. She likes to sit back and watch her foster Mum go about her daily tasks. She is incredibly intelligent and observes everything.

Aurora is absolutely beautiful with such a sweet personality.
If you would like to adopt Aurora, please fill out the adoption form to the left.

KIRIMA

Tax deductible adoption donation of $650 or more
Name: Kirima
Age: 6 months
Gender: Male
Microchip: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Sterilised: Yes
Registered: Yes
Wormed: Yes
Flea/tick treated: Yes
Beautiful Kirima is ready for his forever family. This little man is an absolute sweetheart with a cheeky, but gentle soul. He is so appreciative of everything around him and loves to be part of a family. He is extremely intelligent and is quick to figure out how things work.

Kirima had his eye removed when he first came into care with us as it was severely damaged. He was orphaned at a very young age and was found unconscious on the side of a road. He has been through a great deal of rehabilitation and is now a healthy and happy pup.

Kirima is going to need that special someone who understands his needs. Obviously having his vision halved, he does bump into things at times and it takes him a little longer to become comfortable in new surroundings as he knows he has a disability. He often uses his foster carers leg as a guide for his blind side and walks with her as they go about their daily routines.

Once he feels comfortable and secure in his home, Kirima loves everything with his entire heart. He loves to be playing outside and loves running. He would be best suited to a home with other dogs/dingoes that he can play with and have for company and support. He loves a good wrestle and game of tug o war with his current fury foster brothers.

Kirima needs a family with time, patience and understanding. He needs people who are going to make him feel safe and secure and introduce him to new things at a slow pace to continue building confidence. He settles around new people in a short amount of time. Especially if treats are involved.

Kirima knows his name and does come when he is called...if there is nothing more interesting going on!! He knows sit and stay and is gentle around food. He walks well on lead in his environment but does need work walking on lead in new surroundings. Once again this comes down to confidence building.

Kirima really is a cheeky, happy go lucky, funny little goofball who will make your heart melt. If you think you can give this gentle, loving soul a forever home please fill out the application form to the left.

BURT

Tax deductible adoption donation of $650 or more
Name: Burt
Age: 5 months
Gender: Male
Microchip: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Sterilised: Yes
Registered: Yes
Wormed: Yes
Flea/tick treated: Yes
Burt came into care with his brother Ernie. They were both in awful condition and needed help fast.

Burt is 5 months old and has sent most of that time in foster care with us. He is growing quicker by the minute and has become such a cheeky and confident little man.

Burt loves other dogs and he is friendly around people that he is comfortable with. He is a really sweet dingo but he does have the typical boisterous boy personality. Burt will need a strong lead to help with his confidence and make sure his mischief doesn't get out of hand.

Burt loves cuddles and kisses and will happily sit on your lap for hours. His favourite toy is a tennis ball which we will happily chase across the floor when ever he gets the chance.

If you have room in your heart and home for Burt, please complete the adoption form to the left.

ERNIE

Tax deductible adoption donation of $350 or more
Name: Ernie
Age: 6 months
Gender: Male
Microchip: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Sterilised: Yes
Registered: Yes
Wormed: Yes
Flea/tick treated: Yes
Ernie is a happy little ball of sunshine. This beautiful boy is such a loving young man who always has that cheeky dingo smile on his face.

At 6 months of age, Ernie is a very energetic young dingo. He loves to run and play but above all he loves a cuddle. There is no such thing as personal space with Ernie. According to him your lap is the place to be.

Ernie hates being alone so he needs a home with another dog or dingo to keep him company. He needs humans who are energetic and active and who are willing to devote time to his training and progress. Ernie can be very independent at times so he will need that strong alpha lead from his human to give him guidance.

Ernie knows his name and he knows how  to sit. His manners around food are amazing. He adores other dogs and loves to play and wrestle. He loves a swim and will run until he flops onto the floor for a nap.

He loves being outside but is used to sleeping inside at nights. His search for belonging is strong so being part of the family is extremely important for this young man.

If you wish to adopt Ernie along with all of his cheeky dingo antics please fill out the adoption form to the left.

Banjo

Tax deductible adoption donation of $350 or more
Name: Banjo
Age: 2 years
Gender: Male
Microchip: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Sterilised: Yes
Registered: Yes
Wormed: Yes
Flea/tick treated: Yes
Banjo is a handsome dingo who will make a gentle companion.

His journey started when he was found in the bush as a young pup with no sign of his parents. He spent the first year in our sanctuary where he learned to be a dingo with the other pups and dingoes in our care. Banjo made great progress in the sanctuary given his rough start to life and transitioned into foster care where he has been learning how to live with a family in a domestic setting for the last 9 months.

His quiet and gentle nature makes him a firm favourite of the two young girls in his foster home. Banjo is reserved until he gets to know you but once he does, you’ll be greeted by his beautiful long and bushy tail fanning out a special greeting for you. When you sit quietly he’ll come up to you and loves to get a gentle pat or to softly smell what you have been up to for the day. He is house trained and will sit quietly on his bed watching the activities of the household.

Banjo loves to go out for a walk with those he trusts and again responds very well to his young foster guardians and will walk well on lead for them. He has made excellent progress with his foster carers and will respond to commands such as ‘leave it’,  ‘come’ and ‘sit’. On the home front where Banjo is free to move around more easily he plays well with other dogs and dingoes including puppies and has never shown any aggression towards people. He loves a good squeaky toy (has even been known to retrieve!) and keeps all of us amused with the obvious joy he has for hiding his soft toys around the garden.

Banjo is a gentle soul, wise beyond his two young years. He’d do very well in a home where he has a full time human companion.

Alternatively if you cannot be home full time, Banjo would do well with another dingo or mid/large dog for company during the day and a companion who is willing to invest that little bit extra to help Banjo gain his confidence when out and about with other canines. Banjo is a strikingly good looking example of our beloved dingoes with much of the gentle and cautious nature that have enabled them to survive and thrive for generations on our land.

If you would like to offer Banjo a place in your heart and home, please fill out the adoption form to the left.

Jasper

Tax deductible adoption donation of $650 or more
Name: Jasper
Age: 16 weeks
Gender: Male
Microchip: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Sterilised: Yes
Registered: Yes
Wormed: Yes
Flea/tick treated: Yes
Jasper is a little pup with big tale to tell! Along with the rest of his litter Jasper was rescued from a disturbed mine shaft in NSW and hand raised by a loving foster family.

Due to the foster family’s amazing care this little wild born is super friendly and confident with people. He is playful and cheeky, always seeking to rumble with his litter mates and other dingoes in our care. He has a bright and beautiful attitude to life, full of bravado and gusto. Jasper is willing to give nearly anything a go!

To save this flamboyant spirit from getting into trouble in the future, we have taught Jasper appropriate limits of human and canine interaction. He can be handled well and understands dingo pack dynamics. He displays all the correct behaviour towards older canines during playtime and dinner time. He knows to sit for food, and will sit, lay and shake upon request.

Jasper will make a great companion for someone with an outgoing attitude. He will want to explore the world with you, and will not fair well being left alone at home. Other canine company, or constant human company is a must. Both would be ideal for this amazing little soul.

If you would like to offer Jasper a home, please complete our adoption form to the left.

Amber

Tax deductible adoption donation of $650 or more
Name: Amber
Age: 16 weeks
Gender: Female
Microchip: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Sterilised: Yes
Registered: Yes
Wormed: Yes
Flea/tick treated: Yes
Amber is a gorgeous little gem who’s namesake tells the story of her beginnings - she was rescued from a mine in NSW, and along with her litter mates, she was hand raised by a loving foster family.

Thanks to the foster family’s amazing care this gentle wild-born is very affectionate and friendly with people and enjoys the company of other canines. She is a sensitive soul who loves to be cuddled and will climb onto your lap to get hugs and pats. If approached too quickly, or if the surroundings are too noisy, Amber can become a little shy or unsettled.

Amber knows how to sit, drop and shake and like most dingoes is self-toilet trained to visit the bathroom in one location outside. She will make a great companion animal for a home who has lots of time to give her. She loves both outdoor and indoor time and after a big run around in the yard will happily sleep the night away in your embrace.

Amber is a beautiful and soft-hearted dingo-hybrid who is ready to meet her forever-family. She doesn't like being left alone so the constant companionship of another canine or people is a must.

She is in excellent health and has all vet work up to date.

If you would like to offer Amber the home she deserves, please complete our adoption form to the left.

Age: 1 yr 3 mth
Gender: Male
Microchip: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Sterilised: Yes
Registered: Yes
Wormed: Yes
Flea/tick treated: Yes
Copper and his pregnant partner, Bonnie were brought into our care on Mother’s Day 2018. Bonnie had given birth to 5 beautiful pups a few days later.

This young man is a curious and energetic dingo who greets you with the biggest smile on his face the second he sees you. Copper loves exploring on walks with Bonnie and travels well in the car. He is doing well with his training, but does need that strong lead to guide him in the right direction.

Copper is in great health. All vet work will be up-to-date upon adoption.

We would love for Bonnie and Copper to be rehomed together. The pair would be best suited to a home where they are the only animals and are able to run around. Copper would be able to take advantage of his cheeky and free spirited nature. They will be available to adopt from August 12th.

If you can give this pair a loving home, please fill out the application form to the left.

Bonnie was brought into our care, heavily pregnant along with her partner, Copper on Mother’s Day 2018. She gave birth to 5 beautiful pups only days later.

Bonnie is a smart and loving dingo. When she wants some attention, she loves to gently reach out her paw and tap you on the arm indicating that it’s time for a pat.

She is 1 year old and in good health. All vet work will be up-to-date upon adoption.

We would love for the pair to be rehomed together. They would be best suited to a home where they are the only focus. Bonnie and Copper will be available to adopt from August 12th.
