ADOPT A DINGOThanks for taking the time to consider adopting a displaced dingo or dingo-hybrid who needs a new start.
Every dingo in our care has a special story of how he or she came to be homeless. Though each dingo's story is different, they all have a common desire to belong to a loving home once again. As a pack animal, dingoes love company! Not built for the solo life, dingoes want to be with their families at all times - be that dingo, human or dog! If you think you can provide the kind of home a dingo will love, please get in touch with us using our application form below. Adoption DonationsYour tax-deductible donation to adopt a dingo plays a vital role in the sustainability of our life saving rescue work.
When a dingo comes into our care, we immediately cover expenses for emergency vet treatment, microchip, vaccinations, parasite control, and at a later date desexing. As many dingoes come into our care from the wild in critical condition, we rehabilitate these beautiful animals for many months, sometimes even over a year, covering all rehabilitation expenses along the way. Your donation to adopt an animal in our care covers a portion of these expenses and allows us to continue our life saving work. By donating to us you are not only helping the individual animal you have adopted but are supporting future rescue cases. Thank you for partnering with us to save the wild-hearted. Application FormTo begin our adoption application we would like to gather some information about you, your home and your interest in dingo care. This helps us match you with the most suitable dingo. Please take some time to carefully complete our application form below.
If you're having trouble with this form or have any questions, please email your written application and images to rescue@dingoden.net
KirimaTax deductible adoption donation of $450 or more
Microchip Number: 991001002378905
Name: Kirima Preferred environment: calm, supportive
DOB: Jul, 2017 Training needed: Lead work Gender: Male Personality: playful, cheeky, genuine Vet work: Up to date Companion canine: Yes Beautiful Kirima is ready for his forever family. This little man is an absolute sweetheart with a cheeky, but gentle soul. He is so appreciative of everything around him and loves to be part of a family. He is extremely intelligent and is quick to figure out how things work.
Kirima had his eye removed when he first came into care with us as it was severely damaged. He was orphaned at a very young age and was found unconscious on the side of a road. He has been through a great deal of rehabilitation and is now a healthy and happy pup. Kirima is going to need that special someone who understands his needs. Obviously having his vision halved, he does bump into things at times and it takes him a little longer to become comfortable in new surroundings as he knows he has a disability. He often uses his foster carers leg as a guide for his blind side and walks with her as they go about their daily routines. Once he feels comfortable and secure in his home, Kirima loves everything with his entire heart. He loves to be playing outside and loves running. He would be best suited to a home with other dogs/dingoes that he can play with and have for company and support. He loves a good wrestle and game of tug o war with his current fury foster brothers. Kirima needs a family with time, patience and understanding. He needs people who are going to make him feel safe and secure and introduce him to new things at a slow pace to continue building confidence. He settles around new people in a short amount of time. Especially if treats are involved. Kirima knows his name and does come when he is called... if there is nothing more interesting going on! He knows sit and stay and is gentle around food. He walks well on lead in his environment but does need work walking on lead in new surroundings. Once again this comes down to confidence building. Kirima really is a cheeky, happy go lucky, funny little goofball who will make your heart melt. If you think you can give this gentle, loving soul a forever home please fill out the application form to the left. |
