DINGO DEN VOLUNTEERING
Where Passion Finds Purpose
Volunteering roles are still active during COVID19, caring for our dingoes is top priority and deemed legal under 'essential work'. Volunteering takes place outdoors and in a well-spaced, well-ventilated area. All necessary precautions such as hand hygiene, social distancing and adequate cleaning are abided by.
If you love animals and native conservation, volunteering with us will link your passion with our purpose. Our mandate is to save the lives of dingoes, empower wildlife carers, and prevent the extinction of Australia's vulnerable fauna and flora. We know that everyone has talents and abilities that can help an important mandate like ours so we have outlined six areas that you can get involved in. These six areas, known as pillars, enable Dingo Den Animal Rescue to fulfil its mandate. Rescue

Dingo Den Animal Rescue offers endless opportunities to our volunteers. All volunteers have access to specialized resources, training and equipment. Working with these incredible animals is a privilege that is very unique and special. Our organization has a $55 annual administration and orientation fee which covers training, use of high level programs, administration and attendance to four Quarterly Team Days. There is also a flexible membership fee which we have structured as a dingo sponsorship so that it is tax deductible. This fee sponsors your choice of individual dingo or the pack in general and is your choice of $10, $20 or $40 per week. This financially aids in making their lives better, ensuring they are always provided for, covers onsite costs of the sanctuary, utilities, dingo food, veterinary care, enrichment and training, gives you a personal connection to them and supports DDAR. You will get updates and be a special part of keeping everything we work so hard for going. Without our financial support, DDAR wouldn't be here and we wouldn't be able to do what we do! Volunteers are required to pay their membership fee and commence sponsorship 2weeks prior to their induction. You must also have finalized your Working With Children Check and Police Check prior to induction. You can access free and discounted checks here: Working With Children Check National Crime Check We hope to create a united team passionate about our ultimate aims of ending 1080 baiting and the culling of dingoes, a team passionate about achieving our goal of getting dingoes protected nationally and commencing re-wilding. An even spread of input and support ensures our dingoes are taken care of and each volunteer has equal investment, responsibility and connection to our cause. |
